Abra is a region on Eternia that features in He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.
Abra was the home of David of Abra, the rightful Duke of this region. Abra was allied with King Randor and David had known Prince Adam and Teela when all three of them were eight years old. The people of Abra were the keepers of the magical Ring of Remembrance as well as the Well of Forgetfulness.
David's evil uncle, Count Marzo used the waters of the Well of Forgetfulness to make David lose his memory, as well as return his physical form to the age of eight. Marzo proclaimed himself ruler of Abra, taking over it's castle and redecorating it with large 'M's and statues and busts resembling himself. He also made sure that the Ring would be very hard to recover by throwing it in the Lake of the Lost.
Still, despite his efforts, He-Man managed to recover the ring and restore David's memory and right age. Marzo was defeated when he fell into the Well of Forgetfulness himself and David once again ruled Abra as Duke.
