Alconia-Geppleonia 01 is a moon in The New Adventures of He-Man.
Alconia-Geppleonia 01 was created when part of the planet Vitrian broke off, becoming it's own gravity rounded astronomical body of planetary-mass in the Tri-Solar Galaxy.
The creation of this planetary body was witnessed by Priman scientists Alcon and Gepple, who immediately ordered a large expedition to get samples from it. They were joined by various members of the Galactic Guardians as well as Primus Troopers aboard two starships, the Eternia and the Colossus. On their way, they found their way barred by asteroids that were created alongside the moon when part of Vitrian broke off. These asteroids had to be destroyed by the Guardians before they could set foot on the moon.
Upon arriving at the moon, Alcon attempted to christen it Alconia 01, but Gepple would not allow it. They eventually settled on naming it Alconia-Geppleonia 01. The moon turned out to be teeming with dangerous plant-life, which immediately attacked the two starships and began draining it's oxygen. Luckily, the massive plants were easily destroyed.
After about three weeks of sample taking, the scientists entered a cave where they found an underground lake teeming with life, as well as Skeletor and a Mutant raiding party laying in wait. The Mutants attacked, but were repelled by another type of plantlife. This strain of plants proved to be a great defencive weapon against the Mutants and was soon taken to Primus and installed all over the planet. The Planetary Shield was no longer needed and Alcon and Gepple received the Primus Legion of Merit medal.
Unfortunately, this peaceful period only lasted about a month, for the plants learned to adapt to it's new environments and began to attack the people of Primus. It was soon discovered that the plants were susceptible to cold, and were swiftly defeated by artificially created snowstorms.
