Aquarus is a character from Icons of Evil: Mer-Man
Aquarus was the leader of a peaceful underwater clan, who were unaware of Mer-Man's rule of the rest of the oceans. When Mer-man heard about this settlement, he decided to go and enlighten them of his presence, and to ensure that they knew that he was the Lord of all of the seas of Eternia, and ended up destroying their city when they refused to bow to him. Aquarus led an army in retaliation, who succeeded in destroying Mer-Man's kingdom, however in the battle Aquarus would lose his life, being eaten by Mer-Man's giant fish.
