Ar-Bor

Ar-Bor is the chief of the farmers of the valley of the River of Rain. He and his fellow farmers are a superstitious people who believe in a mythical being called "The Man in the Mountain," who lives up in the Mystic Mountains and lays claim to the River of Rain. Therefore, they despise Ramjah and his fishermen because they believe their fishing of the River of Rain makes the Man in the Mountain angry.

The River of Ruin[]

When earthquakes begin to shake the Mystic Mountains, Ar-Bor and his farmers blame the fishermen for angering the Man in the Mountain by fishing his river. Suddenly, a massive flood strikes the farmer's fields, leaving them underwater. Fortunately, He-Man, Teela, and Sy-Klone were on hand to rescue them, having come to investigate the earthquakes.

A few days later, terrible beasts attacked the valley. Ar-Bor believes they were sent by the Man in the Mountain, and once again blames the fishermen for angering him. He sends a message to the Heroic Warriors, who arrive and drive off the beasts. Ar-Bor still refuses to make peace with the fishermen, believing that it will call down the further wrath of the Man in the Mountain on them. MossMan suddenly appears, revealing that these acts aren't caused by a "Man in the Mountain," but by Skeletor and his Evil Warriors.

Realizing Ramjah and the fishermen could be in trouble, He-Man asks for Ar-Bor's help. Ar-Bor agrees, but only out of gratitude for all the help He-Man has given him and the other farmers. When they arrive at Ramjah's village, they find the fishermen are enslaved and being forced to dig for Eternium by Skeletor. Ar-Bor aids in the rescue by bravely catching Webstor's hook with his pitchfork, earning him respect from Ramjah.

After the Heroic Warriors successfully restore the River of Rain and wash out Skeletor's Eternium mine, Ar-Bor and Ramjah, as well as their people, finally end their feud and work together to restore their livelihoods by planting new fields for the farmers and fixing the fishermen's village.
