Aran is a character from the 1983 animated series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.
History[]
Aran is a young man with very strong magic, which he uses to teleport himself and his sister Oona. He also carries an extremely durable golden wand and is strong enough to lift and throw large rocks, though it is not clear if his strength is magical or not.
Aran and Oona sought to gain power and glory by serving Skeletor. For their first mission, Skeletor tent them to retrieve the Masks of Power. Upon gaining the masks, Aran and Oona were possessed by the spirits of the sorcerers Demos and Tyrella, the last rulers of the City of the Ancients. When He-Man freed the Sword of the Ancients, it merged with He-Man's Sword of Power and freed Aran and Oona, who chose to renounce serving evil and returned to the Light Hemisphere of Eternia with He-Man and Man-At-Arms. It is unknown if they then used their powers for good or if they chose to live the lives of civilians.
