Behind the Scenes[]
- In the 1985 original series, Pooka was the name of a creature, not it's species, who did reside on Beast Island, but was actually quite tame and cute. Similarly, the original versions of the Chibbit and Scruffer were very cute and docile, in contrast to the dangerous animals that Adora talks about in this version. Razorfins were very dangerous creatures native to both Eternia and Etheria in the Filmation continuity, although the Etherian version was only mentioned, never shown on screen. Also, being sea creatures, Razorfins would not have been a threat in a land based location such as Beast Island.
