Black Snow is the 58th episode of She-Ra: Princess of Power.

Plot Summary

Loo-Kee: "It's Loo-Kee again, with another chance for you to find me. If you haven't already, look now. See me? Here I am! Today, She-Ra healed a Howler that was sick. It's no fun being sick, but there are some things you can do to avoid that. Like dressing warmly in cold weather, and eating healthy foods. Ask your parents what to do. Because getting sick is just no fun at all!"

Behind the Scenes

  • Script was approved January 17, 1985 and final script revision took place April 9, 1985. The character models were finalized on April 17, 1985.
  • The animation model for Multi-Bot was designed by character artist Harry Sabin based on early concept art for the action figure by Ted Mayer.
  • King Narwahl, Wesk, Captain Bron and all the supporting Snow People and Selkies were designed by character artist Bruce Timm.
  • The script was heavily rewritten to provide both of Multi-Bot's heads with different lines of dialogue.
  • The script originally referred to Frosta's Crystalline arm, a concept mentioned in the series bible but never expanded upon.
  • Princess Adora is not in this episode. She is in She-Ra form for the entire duration.

  • The animated sequence of Frosta conjuring up and firing a blast of ice was used again in Sweet Bee's Home.
  • The sequence of She-Ra communicating telepathically with the Snow Howler is reused animation from Battle for Bright Moon in which she used this power to communicate with a bear.

  • When Loo-Kee reveals his hiding place during the moral segment, his head is positioned more clearly into frame than it was the first time this scene appeared.
