The Brain Amplifier is a device used in the animated series The New Adventures of He-Man.
The Brain Amplifier was a device which could increase once's intelligence.Korac, the former Mayor of Gorn City offered this device to Skeletor. To demonstrate the power of the machine, he used a Denebrian Zeeb Ape as a test subject.
Skeletor took the Amplifier from Korac without paying him for it and used it make Slush Head so smart, that he was able to modify the machine to be used as a brain-ray and thus work on several Mutants at the same time. The Brain-Ray was next used to enhance BH and Staghorn's intelligence, who quickly deduced that Korac must have told He-Man about the theft and predict when the Primans will arrive and where they will land.
Soon the genius level Mutants began bossing Skeletor and Flogg around, so Skeletor soon decided that he would use the device to decrease their intelligence once more.
The machine was eventually destroyed by He-Man with one swift stroke of his magic sword.
