Loo-Kee: "Hi! It's me again you're old friend Loo-Kee. Did you find where I was hiding today? If not, take another look. Here I am! You know, in today's story, little Jarin put her village in great danger when she broke the rules. You can be in great danger from breaking rules too. Have you ever tried to cross the street against the stoplight? That's breaking a rule. Sometimes rules aren't that clear, but there's a very good reason for having them. Bye now! See you next time!"

Various backgrounds for the village of Brigis are reused from those for the villages of Devlan and Thaymor. Most noticeably, the Laughing Swan Inn symbol can be seen on the outside of one building once again.
The scene in which She-Ra is spinning a log above her head which has a Horde Trooper stuck on either side is reused animation from the episode Gateway to Trouble.
The character model of the Good Witch is reused as a disguised Catra in Portrait of Doom. It is an altered version of the disguise by Evil-Lyn in the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe episode The Curse of the Spellstone and The Royal Cousin and by the wizard Jarvan in A Friend in Need.
The animated fight between Hordak and She-Ra was first used in A Loss for Words and will be seen again in The Caregiver.
