The Centaur is a minor character in He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.
History[]
The Centaur was the second and last guardian of the Silver Apple in Brindle's magical maze. Barring the way of the He-Man, who served as Torm's champion during this challenge, the Centaur challenged the most powerful man in the universe to a fight. However, when He-Man asked if he could propose another method, the Centaur agreed. They decided on a tug of war, with the loser ending up face first into the water which divided them.
The Centaur lost and happily claimed He-Man to be the winner and the rightful recipient of the Silver Apple.
