Crater Lake, sometimes referred to as the Frozen Lake is a location mentioned in The New Adventures of He-Man.
Master Sebrian once ordered Gleep to go to Crater Lake carrying his cloak. Sebrian knew the cloak had been bugged by Skeletor with a Micro-Com and he was leading them into a trap by pretending to be heading towards a hidden Fighter base.
Instead, Sebrian and He-Man awaited the the Evil Mutants at Crater Lake. Flogg ordered his forces, consisting of Mutant Troopers and Anadroids to capture the two men, only to find that Sebrian was mereley an image projected by Gleep.
A group of Rebels, mainly scientist and farmers, who had been hiding themselves in the trees surrounding the lakes, revealed themselves and came to the aid of He-Man, who needed little help to defeat the Mutant and Anadroid troopers on the ice himself. Finally, the Starship Eternia arrived, piloted by Captain Hydron and Lieutenant Flipshot with Mara at their sight, and soon the Rebellion had scored it's first major victory, sending Skeletor, Flogg and other villains over a waterfall on a broken off piece of ice.
