Damon was an evil sorcerer who appeared in the classic DC Comics miniseries.
Damon had enslaved Ceril's jungle tribe, but Prince Adam transformed into He-Man for the first time and defeated Damon in combat.
Some time later, Damon remained in the shadows while he manipulated Skeletor to kidnap the Goddess and force He-Man to search out The Talismans Three for him. Damon already had the both halves of the Power Sword right in front of him, but was unable to reach them due to a stasis field.
Growing tired of spying on his enemies from afar, Damon attacked Skeletor in the Cavern of Power, knowing that their clashing magic energies would make them travel through unreachable corridors to Castle Grayskull itself. Skeletor then revealed he knew all along and feigned ignorance while expecting Damon to make his move. Skeletor used both his hands to fire powerful plasma bolts at Damon, and left him for dead as he lay on the ground with his back lit by flames.

Damon first appeared in The Key to Castle Grayskull looking like a horned demon with yellow skin, wearing a red skullcap, bracelets and loincloth. In Within these Walls.. Armageddon, he appeared human, with his hair and clothes following the same color pattern as his demon form.
