Daniel Horn da Rosa, aka Daniel HDR (b. July 3, 1974) is a comic book artist.
About[]
Born in Porto Alegre (Brazil), in 1974, Daniel HDR began as a professional in comics at the age of only 14 years. At first Daniel HDR sent in illustrations to the reader artsections of comics, but soon working as an illustrator for several of the local Brazilian publishers, such as Press Editora, D'Arte, Ondas, and others.
In 1995, Daniel HDR started working with US comic publishers including Dark Horse. One of the titles that Daniel HDR worked on for Dark Horse was Digimon.
In 2005, signed as an exclusive artist with Avatar Press. His first work at Avatar was on the Lady Death books with Lady Death's creator Brian Pulido. Daniel HDR also worked on Avatar's The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Grind comic series, also written by Brian Pulido.
Daniel HDR has also worked on comics featuring Battlestar Galactica, Barbarella, Sheena Queen of the Jungle, Smallville, Aquaman, The Shadow, Red Sonja, Stormwatch, Superman, X-Men, Wonder Woman and lots more.
