The Demon is summoned by Skeletor in the second wave of Masters of the Universe Minicomics.
This terrifying Demon was summoned by the evil Skeletor, who intened to offer Teela to it as a sacrifice. In return the Demon would breach the gates of Castle Grayskull for the evil Lord of Destruction.
Before the creature could get it's claws on Teela however, He-Man attacked it, using his battle axe. Shortly afterwards, Man-E-Faces freed Teela from the ropes that bound her, and she joined He-Man in fighting the demon. Despite it's greater size, the demon soon fell back, unable to withstand the fighting power of both mighty warriors, and eventually retreated into a pit from whence it had come.
