The village of Devlan is a location from the 1985 animated series She-Ra: Princess of Power.
She-Ra: Princess of Power[]
The village of Devlan was suffering from Horde bullies and the villagers were too scared to do anything about it.
The local Inn, ran by Darius and his wife was especially prone to visits from Horde Troopers led by Dylamug who came there to have fun at the villagers expence.
Only Krystala, the young daughter of Darius the Innkeeper felt compelled to do something about it and travelled on her own and against her parents wished to the Whispering Woods to ask help from the Great Rebellion. She-Ra decided to help her, but chose not to bring any other Rebels with her, as she wanted to teach the villagers of Devlan to fend for themselves.
At first the villagers objected, but they saw how She-Ra stood up to the Hordesmen on her own, courage grew in the hearts of the Devlan villagers and, armed with whatever they could find, from sacks of flour to custard pies, decided to come out and help She-Ra. For when good people stand together, they can work miracles.
Trivia[]
The backgrounds used for Devlan in Duel at Devlan are exactly the same as those seen as the village of Thaymor in Into Etheria and The Secret of the Sword. Darius' Inn is exactly the same as the Laughing Swan Inn. The Bard character is seen playing his intrument is both.
In The Bibbet Story, the backgrounds have been flopped and the logo above the door at the Laughing Swan Inn is facing the other way.
