Dukan is a character in the animated series The New Adventures of He-Man.
Dukan was a legendary Western hero on the planet Primus and an old friend of Master Sebrian. He was found floating lifelessly through space in a Life Support Pod, within a damaged ship. Master Sebrian sent the Galactic Guardians to answer the shipr's rescue beacon and set they soon released him from the cryogenic suspencion. Dukan inspired the people of Primus with his tales of adventure and carried on as if he was in as good condition as in his younger days and liked to boast that young heroes such as He-Man were not fit to hold his saddlebags.
When Skeletor challenged the old hero to meet him in an Abandoned Mining Town on Denebria at High Suns, Dukan accepted without a second thought and insisted on going to Denebria with only his trusty robot horse and Gleep to serve as the pilot of his ship. But Skeletor had brougth reinforcements with him in the form of the Evil Mutants and Dukan was soon outgunned. Lucky for him, He-Man, Hydron and Flipshot had followed in the Starship Eternia and engaged the Mutants. This spurred on Dukan to use new technology such as a Hologram Projector he had been given for luck by his loyal fan Caz to find a new way to defeat the Mutants. Dukan projected several duplicates of himself so that the Mutants became unsure which one was the real hero.
After defeating the Mutants, Dukan used another new invention, the Light Lasso, to round them up and deposit them near their Shuttle Pods. Soon after this victory, Dukan took his leave of the Primans by riding off into the sunset on his robot horse.
