Emar

Emar is a minor characters who appear in the animated series The New Adventures of He-Man.

Emar was a representative of the 'Makkina Terrortread Service' from the highly advanced planet Makkina. their speciality was creating machines and vehicles, including the Terrortreads used by the Evil Mutants. When Flogg contacted the Service listed on a plaque on the bottom of one of the vehicles, Emar and several robot Protectons travelled to the planet Denebria to inspect the vehicles. He soon realized that the models of Terrortreads being used were long out of date and had started to fall apart.

When Skeletor inquired if they could obtain newer models, Emar first had to consult with his superiors, but soon agreed to take a group of Mutants back to Makkina in his advanced spaceship. Although the planets were located two thousand Hyper-Telkettes apart, it only took one Dollop to travel there, whereas it would have taken the Mutant Mothership two Telkdaysians. Along the way they were joined by a group of representatives from Primus, including He-Man and Master Sebrian, who wanted to keep an eye on the Mutants.

The people of Makkina had achieved peace at the expense of their own freedom. The Protectons secretly dominated Emar’s world. When the robots realized that the Mutants and Primans were at war with each other, they decided to put an end to this conflict by occupying both Primus and Denebria. The visiting parties respresenting both planets were immediately captured in Energy Nets. But He-Man called upon the way of the magic to guide his power sword as he trew it at the Energy Net control system, destroying it and freeing his friends as well as his enemies.

Emar soon revealed to the Guardians, who were no on the run from the Protectons, that he was a part of an underground resistance to overthrow the robotic rulers. He led them to a secret underground meeting place where they were joined by other resistances members including Zak, who's first instinct was to destroy the Priman robot Gleep, but could be stopped before he did it any harm.

The Mutants followed Emar and the Guardians into the resistance underground tunnels, thinking they will lead to the Master Control Robot. Three dangerous bariers had to be passed in order to reach the Master Control Robot, but He-Man managed to get through the first two with ease and with a little help from Gleep, also passed the third.

It turned out the Master Control Robot had duplicated himself. Each one of it's smaller versions could control all of the machines on Makkina. He-Man was captured in a static cage by the Protectons. The Mutants grabbed one of the duplicate brains and escaped in their Mothership, but Emar assured the Guardians that the Master Control Robot's brains were all programmed with several safeguards that protected it from being used by third parties. He-Man managed to break free from his electronic prison and asked Emar and Zak to reprogram the Master Control Robot.

The Guardians kept fighting the Protectons until Emar and Zak managed to disconnect the Master Control, causing all the robots to lose their power. Zak wanted to destroy them all, but Emar vowed to rebuild and reprogram them so that this time, the Makkinaks would remain in charge.
