Energy Chains were a device used in the animated series The New Adventures of He-Man.
Energy Chains were created by the brain-enhanced Evil Mutants and were strong enough to bind even He-Man in order to keeop him captive.
The chains were designed to gain strength from his struggles, and so he eventually overcame the chains by not fighting against them.
