Eternos as seen in the Mike Young Productions animated series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (2002).
History[]
Eternos is the capital city of the planet Eternia and the location of the Royal Palace, seat of the planetary government led by King Randor. During the Great Wars, Eternos was occupied by King Hssss and his Snake Men, and for a while Castle Grayskull served as the seat of Eternia's traditional regime. After the reign of King Grayskull, Eternos was restored as the planetary capital. The city is known for its gold-domed white towers. Built on a steep, rocky cliff, it is surrounded by lush forests and waterfalls. The Palace overlooks the Evergreen Forest. A walled courtyard is lined with huge statues dedicated to the Council of Elders. The courtyard is often used to practice defensive exercises. A giant chessboard covered in holographic game pieces provides entertainment. The Royal Palace was defended by the Masters of the Universe and an army of Eternian guards. They used vehicles created by Man-At-Arms in his workshop, including Battle Hawks, Battle Tanks, and Dragon Walkers
