Biography

According to Cringer, the Fright Zone is the land from which the Empire of Hiss spread. Hiss commanded a race of apex warriors commonly known as 'The Snakes' nearly snuffed out all early life on Eternia.

Many years later, Keldor took residence in the serpentine stronghold Snake Mountain where he recuperated in stasis for ten years after being infected with Havoc magic at Castle Grayskull. He emerged from his slumber when young Adam first called upon the Power of Grayskull, and soon after this fully embraced the power of Havoc, renaming himself Skeletor and gathering more evil henchmen at Snake Mountain such as Evelyn, Kronis and R'Qazz.

Skeletor also used the Havoc power to re-animate the bones of long dead creatures that littered the Zone and turn them into Battle Bones.

• The name Fright Zone is usually connected to the Evil Horde's base of operations on Etheria instead of on Eternia.
