Plot Summary[]
Moral[]
Loo-Kee: "Hi! It's me again, Loo-Kee. Did you find me today? If not, look again. See me now? Here I am! Today's story was about a gateway to trouble, and when Modulok went through, he did find trouble on the other side. Getting into trouble is easy, but getting out is harder. Behind the Scenes[]
- Script was approved October 24, 1984 and final script revision was done March 6, 1985.
- Modulok defects from the Evil Warriors to join the Evil Horde in this story. Strangely enough, Tung Lashor is presented as one of Skeletor's henchmen in this episode, even though he sports the Horde emblem on his chest.
- The bizarre alien creatures shown near the end, known only as 'Round Creatures' in the modeling sheets, were designed by character designer Fred Carrillo.
- Writer J. Michael Straczynski used the food known as 'spoo' again in his science fiction series Babylon 5, in which it was identified as a meat based product produced by the Centauri Republic.
Continuity[]
- The animation of She-Ra is spinning a log above her head which has a Horde Trooper stuck on either side is reused in Brigis.
- The animation of He-Man kicking a Destructo Tank was previously used in He-Man and the Masters of the Universe episode Disappearing Act when he kicked Skeletor's Freeze Ray device into the air.
- The design of the Electroid was used earlier as Byte in the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe episode Day of the Machines and as an electrical giant in Time Doesn't Fly'.
- Modulok is demoted from Horde scientist to Horde Cook. He is still in this position at the start of his next appearance in Enemy with My Face.
Errors[]
- Adam, Adora, Kowl and Cringer notice Skeletor coming through the gate, but not Modulok.
- He-Man & She-Ra are seen holding their Power Swords, even though She-Ra called for her sword to transform into hand cuffs for Skeletor, just a moment before. The sword & cuffs are shown in the scene as two separate items.
- Skeletor's nose is not properly drawn when he is released from She-Ra's sword-turned-into-handcuffs.
