He-Fan is the 42nd episode of The New Adventures of He-Man.
Skeletor unleashes his latest super weapon, the Sonic Resonator, on the Priman Independence day. The Galactic Guardians head for Denebria in the Colossus, but find that He-Man's biggest fan has stowed away on board.
Plot Summary[]
Slush Head has been selected to test Skeletor's newest super weapon, a Sonic Resonator on the day the Priman's celebrate their independence. During the festivities, Werban is giving a speech promoting peace with the Evil Mutants in Onnor. In the audience, a woman Melindra sits down next to Adam of Grayskull and claims to be He-Man's biggest fan.
On Skeletor's orders, Slush Head fires his weapon at the planetary shield. The underground city of Onnor and the Oasis begin to shake. Hydron and Flipshot head for Starship Eternia while Adam tells Mara to take Master Sebrian and Melinda to safety as he will notify He-Man. The three Guardians are ordered by Sebrian to take a picture of the Mutant's new weapon for analasis, but not to engage the Mothership.
Shortly afterwards, back on Primus, the Scientists of Primus have figured out how the Sonic Resonator works. It fires high frequency soundwaves that cause everything to vibrate. A fleet of Shuttle Pods equiped with this weaopon could destroy the Priman shield and indeed, Skeletor has already ordered Flogg to have the device installed on all available fighters.
He-Man and the Guardians must destroy the Renoator before it's too late and prepare to leave in the Colossus. Werban tries to convince them to talk peace with the Mutants instead, but is overruled. The Guardians are surprised to find Melindra has stowed away on the Colossus. They decide to land a safe distance away from the Resonator and attack it with Battle Birds rather than attack it head on in the Colossus with Melindra on board. She is ordered to stay on the ship, and uses her video camera to document their departure. Posing for a picture on a Bolajet, she accidentally launches it out of the ship's hangar.
The Heroic Guardians have found a clearing where Mutant Troopers seem to be preparing a major invation force. He-Man gives out orders to his fellow men, but before they can get down to action, their element of surprise is ruined by the arrival of Melindra on her Bolajet. She ends up in the arms of Slush Head and tells them that He-Man is on his way, urging Flogg to order the entire base to be secured and on alert.
Skeletor orders the Shuttle Pods to launch and explains that the Sonic Resonator will be fully charged in ten dollops time. He then orders Slush Head and Flogg to interrogate Melindra, but she hits them on the head with her umbrella instead of giving them any answers. He-Man tells Flipshot to rescue Melindra while Tuskador and Sagitar create a diversion. Together with Hydron, He-Man set out to destroy the Resonator. Afterwards, they escape by stealing Skeletor's Skullcopter. On the way back to Primus, Melindra has shifted her obsession from He-Man to Flipshot.
