He-Ra is a character described in He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: A Character Guide and World Compendium by Dark Horse Comics. She is credited as being introduced in 2008 in MOTU Classics.
Biography[]
He-Ra was the daughter of Tay-Larr and Salaria, making her the granddaughter of both He-Ro and King Grayskull, and the granddaughter of Veena, the first sorceress. She was an ancestor of the "Twins of Power" (referring to Adam and Adora who became He-Man and She-Ra) and she guarded the Power Sword. She was said to have outsmarted King Hiss in the Void.
