Inferno Island was a volcanic island on Eternia.
When the royal ship Sea Eagle found itself trapped in a giant ice floe on a trip to the Golden Isles, He-Man devised a plan to harness the power of Inferno Island to melt the ice. Traveling to the island in a Talon Fighter with Man-At-Arms, He-Man used the Talon Fighter's laser cannons to collapse the side of the volcano, making molten lava roll into the sea and causing it to boil. Under Teela's direction, friendly sea creatures pushed the ice floe towards the boiling sea around the island, causing the ice to melt and freeing Sea Eagle.
