The Inner Council is a faction that appears in the animated series The New Adventures of He-Man.
The Inner Council was the ruling body of Primus and vital to the planet's existence. They resided in crystal tubes connected to the Vasionic Resonator and their mental energies powerd Primus's protective shield. They spend most of their time in the Dream Dimension in order to concentrate on the creation of the planetery shield.
Their strength and numbers began to weaken by the repeated attacks on the shield of Primus by Flogg and his Evil Mutants. Master Sebrian came up with a plan to search out a legendary hero from the past to aid them. In order to set this plan into motion, he first had to ask permission from the Inner Council.
