The Insect People are a species seen in He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.
The Insect People lived beneath the Mystic Mountains until a plot by Skeletor to deplete Eternia's oxygen supply by constructing a dam in the Sea of Eternity nearly caused their extinction. He-Man and Insect People's greatest hero, Garth, cooperate to stop Skeletor and afterward, the Insect People agree to guard the Sea to make sure that Skeletor does not try again.
They relocated and built a village near Rose Mountain. They were led by Shaman and Garth.
