Jay Scheimer (September 29, 1931 – February 19, 2009) was an occasional voice actor on He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.
Jay Scheimer was married to Lou Scheimer and together they were the parents of Erika Scheimer. She was occasionally asked to provide fill-in voices for female characters on He-Man and the Masters of the Universe but did not receive any on-screen credit for this.
The reason for this was that the voice-actors under contract were only allowed to play a certain amount of characters per episode. When an extra female voice was needed, Lou and Erika, who both provided uncredited voicework on many Filmation productions and also served as voice directors, could always call on Jay.
