Kothos' Stronghold is a location on Eternia that features in He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.
The evil wizard Kothos' Stronghold was located in the Mountains. Kothos was intend on obtaining the Fountain of Life from the temple at Aridan for himself, and used a powerful spell to lift the entire temple into the air and fly it over to his stronghold. To get there, he had to cross a dangerous desert.
Kothos made enemies of both the witch Evil-Lyn and the warrior Teela, who teamed up to defeat him. With some added help from He-Man, Mallek, Man-At-Arms and Orko, they swiftly defeated Kothos and his Ork Guards and the temple of the Fountain was transported back to Aridan by Mallek.

- The background plates used for Kothos' stronghold were originally used as Queen Elmora's throne room in She-Demon of Phantos and were seen again in The Once and Future Duke as the interior of Count Marzo's castle.
