Trivia[]
- Aimee Carrero is credited as voicing both Adora and She-Ra. While Adora is seen briefly, She-Ra never appears in this episode.
- The name 'Light Spinner' was originally only used as part of Shadow Weaver's origin story in the UK Masters of the Universe and Princess of Power comic magazines.
- Norwyn originated in the 1985 series episode The Price of Power, in which he was revealed to be the teacher of both Shadow Weaver and Castaspella.
- The arm movements that the magic users use is based on those seen in Marvel Studios' Doctor Strange (2016).
- Catra walks in on Hordak getting dressed and is disturbed by his damaged body, just like Captain Piett when he sees Darth Vader in his meditation chamber in The Empire Strikes Back (1980).
- Shadow Weaver leaves a holographic image of herself behind in her prison cel so she can escape, just like Lex Luthor did in Superman II (1981).
