Lord Gr'Asp is a sinister master of strategy and a member of the Snake Men. Instead of a hand, he has a deadly captor claw.
History[]
Known for his vile cunning, Lord Gr'Asp allied himself with both the Snake Men and the Evil Horde, brokering and alliance with Horde Prime before arriving on Eternia to convince both King Hssss and Hordak to join forces. The combined factions proved to be a devastating force until they were finally defeated by the combined forces of the Heroic Warriors and the Evil Warriors. Gr'Asp managed to escape the Spell of Separation in the Second Ultimate Battleground and joined the forces of Lady Slither, helping her return to try and conquer Eternia.
Originally one of several unnamed characters planned for the 1988 wave of the Masters of the Universe toyline, Powers of Grayskull, the character appeared on unreleased Mattel cardback artwork illustrated by Errol McCarthy. In 2017, the character was given the name Lord Gr'Asp and released as part of a three-pack with Terroar and Plasmar.
MOU Origins[]
In March of 2024 Lord Gr'Asp and Terroar, as part of the MOTU Origins toyline, went up for preorder on Walmarts' website. Multiple reports having the figures selling out in seconds, claiming bots bought them all. The reality of the situation will unfold and reveal itself later, when Walmart ships the figures.
