The Magna Beam Projector was a powerful new invention that Hordak had built by Shadow Weaver at the Fright Zone in Etheria. Its beam could destroy Whispering Woods so the rebels would be exiled to the Valley of the Lost, from which no one had ever returned.
She-Ra and Queen Angella teamed up to create a shield to protect the Whispering Woods and send the destructive beam back to Hordak in the Fright Zone.
