Biography[]
Pre-Crisis[]
Man-E-Faces found himself inexplicably drawn to Castle Grayskull and patientenly stood waiting outside for the reason why to reveal itself. Shortly, the sky above seemed to explode in brilliant flashes of etherial hues, for indeed a battle of might and magic was being fought inside between the evil Skeletor and the demonic Damon. A beam of energy erupted from the open jawbridge and pulled Man-E-Faces into the castle.
Soon, he found himself materializeing inside the castle's throne room next to Beast-Man. Man-E confessed that he was unsure of what was going on and why he was there, but Skeletor, who had defeated Damon and was now in posession of both halves of the Power Sword, used it's power to 'awaken the true nature of the ramapging, raging beast' inside Man-E, and ordered him to slay He-Man.
His face transformed into a monstrous green beast, Man-E-Faces grabbed He-Man and attempted to crush him with his bare arms, but was recoiled by the might of He-Man's power vest and defeated.
