Masters of the Universe: The Motion Picture is a comic book special published by Marvel Comics in November 1987 under its "Star Comics" imprint. It adapts the story of the 1987 live-action Masters of the Universe movie that was released the same year. However, most of the characters were depicted the way they looked in their toy form rather than the way they looked in the motion picture.
