Maxis is a character in the animated series The New Adventures of He-Man.
Maxis (also known as Maxis The Invincible) was a mutant from the planet Denebria, who was banished by Skeletor to the ice planet Omega-4, located on the very edge of the Tri-Solar Galaxy. Maxis posessed incredible power that was activated by the cybernetic-goggles mounted on his helmet. The goggles goave him the abilities of freeze vision and heat vision. His Lackey was Zark, a two-headed, dragon-like mutant, who obeyed Maxis' every command.
On Omega-4, Maxis and Zark discovered a supply of the deadly gas Black Omega. Maxis decided to claim the gas for himself rather than informing Skeletor about it. He planned to fill several space tankers with the substance and then assault the planet Primus, who's planetary shield would be useless against the Black Omega. In order to obtain his goal, Maxis needed workers. Therefore, he attacked the planet Spira and forced it's surviving families to work in the mines on Omega-4.
After being defeated by the Galactic Guardians on Omega-4, Maxis and Zark moved to another galaxy.
