Mechacats were magic robots used by the wizard Zalt of Omiros.
Zalt conjured up three Mechacats to stop He-Man and Battle Cat. One Mechacat was destroyed by Battle Cat, who jumped on it with all his might. The second Mechacat fired lasers from it's eyes at He-Man, but they were deflected back at it be He-Man using his sword. The returning blasts destroyed the second cat. Meanwhile, Orko was trapped by the third Mechacat, but He-Man grabbed it by the tail and threw it at the ground, smashing the robot in to tiny pieces.
