The Moorfire Stones are artifacts that form the eyes of the Fantus tribe's totem. Their magic empowers Chief Merlo's staff, and only the child of the tribe's chief is capable of removing them. Rago once exploited this by kidnapping Podi and using her to steal the Moorfire Stones from the Temple of the Fantus. He used them as eyes for Zegone in hopes of giving it the power to overthrow Chief Merlo, but He-Man thwarted his plans.
