Octavia was an octopus woman from Octopus Cove, where she served as it's Horde-Commander. She was also a sea commander in a sea port in The Sea of Sigh, a small Etherian ocean. When she first confronted She-Ra, Octavia easily captured She-Ra with her tentacles. She also demonstrated with ease that she could capture a talented fighter like Sea Hawk, who appeared to be drained of energy, suggesting that Octavia posessed abilities similar to Leech, and was able to drain energy from her opponents.
Powers and abilities[]
Octavia's main powers stemmed from her ability to manipulate the four tentacles on her back with great dexterity. On one occasion she was seen to wield freeze sticks, and on another was able to hold and use a sword in each tentacle at the same time. She may also have the power to drain the life force from her opponents.
Behind the Scenes[]
Octavia was not part of the original Princess of Power toyline, but was created for the Filmation series. She first appeared as an articulated action figure in 2013 as part of Mattel's Masters of the Universe Classics toyline.
