Orko the Great is a legendary wizard, once revered and admired in Eternia, once helping save Eternia from King Grayskull after he'd gone mad with Havoc, and using a Spell of True Self to restore Grayskull's sanity. Once Eternia was safe, Orko cast a spell to take his people, the Trollans, to a new dimension where they could live happily and safely, dubbing their new home 'New Trolla'.
In truth however, Orko got the wrong dimension instead of the intended one, so he just called this mistaken dimension New Trolla and left his people there to live their lives while he retreated into his own pocket dimension to be by himself.
Before he'd left however, Orko accidentally left behind a chest containing a memory cog of his own memories.
Orko dwelled in his pocket dimension for a long time, dabbling in his craft, trying to improve his magical skills and abilities, but never seeming to get anywhere or least amount to his high standards for himself, depressing him.
One day, out of the blue, Orko found himself visited by a robot Ork-O, who had come to request help from Orko, requiring a spell that could remove Havoc from a person. Orko was reluctant to hand the spell over, citing it could be disastrous in the wrong hands, though Ork-0 claimed he wanted to deliver it to the "right hands" (meaning Teela).
Orko asked Ork-o why he (Ork-0) couldn't use it, and declared Ork-0's statement that he couldn't do magic to be nonsense, following up with some encouragement by saying that anyone who believes in magic can do magic. Though he glumly mumbled to himself that doing it properly was another matter.
Eventually, Orko allowed Ork-0 to take the spell, and was surprised to find out it worked when Ork-0 came back to inform him of the spell's success. Orko finally confessed his past mistakes, in taking his people to the wrong dimension and fearing how they would react if he told them the truth.
Ork-0 encouraged Orko while holographically showing his own blunders yet successes that everyone makes mistakes, but the important thing was to keep trying regardless. Because if one does not try they will never find the courage or self-confidence to believes in themselves.
Orko and Ork-0 departed as friends, with Orko going to rejoin his people and Ork-0 returning to aid his friends, the Masters of the Universes.
