Prince Hazar is a minor character from the 1985 animated series She-Ra: Princess of Power.
She-Ra: Princess of Power[]
Prince Hazar is the only son and heir of King Duplis, who rules over Erelandia on the planet Etheria. Duplis feared the Evil Horde and dutifully paid the taxes Hordak demanded. But Hazar secretly fed information about the Horde to the Great Rebellion.
Hazar was caputured while attempting to join the Rebellion and immediatley sent off planet to work in the Mines of Mondor on the planet Krytis. His father pleaded with Angella to help rescue his son, for feared that the dangerous minerals found in the mines would affect Hazar's health.
A Rebel rescue team consisting of She-Ra, Glimmer, Bow, Kowl, Madame Razz and Broom traveled to Krytis by way of the Dimensional Gate, but still had to make a long sea voyage to reach Mondor. To make their mission even more urgent, they had to return to the Gate within three days or be stuck in Krytis forever.
When they did, they quickly located Hazar, working as a slave and looking haggart. However, the Rebels had to wait until nightfall before they could make their move. Hazar managed to rouse his fellow inmates, and for a man supposedly suffering from mineral poisoning, showed great strenght picking up a Horde Trooper and throwing him. The other prisoners commandeered Hordak's large Horde Flyer to escape and thanks to the help from the local fauna, Krytis Birds, the Rebels and Hazar made it back to the gate in time.
When the Rebels returned Hazar safely to Etheria, Duplis still had no intention of joining the Great Rebellion out of his undying fear for the Horde as well as his love for his only child. Queen Angela's words finally managed to persuade the King to see the errors of his way and agree with his son to join the side of the Rebels.
