Victory Ceremony
The Arena is a location on the planet Rintor in The New Adventures of He-Man.
The Arena was where the Games were held on the planet Rintor. Royka and Molden invited the Galactic Guardians and the Evil Mutants to compete against each other in the Games. The Mutants were the first to arrive, and were rewarded by having the chance to trick the Guardians into a false sence of security upon their arrival.
As they debarked the Starship Eternia, Hydron, Flipshot and He-Man were surprised to find Drissi and Caz waiting for them. But it was actually Flogg and Optikk using a holographic disguise, about to attack them. When their real forms were exposed, the Mutants fled and the Guardians were officially welcomed to the Arena by Molden, speaking over a large intercom.
As they entered the building together with Kayo, the Guardians entered a zero gravity area. Royka explained that the goal of the first contest was to escape from the building they were in. The Guardians were tasked to escape through the exit in the roof, and the Mutants were only allowed to escape through the exit in the floor. The guardians faced off against Flogg, Optikk, Hoove, Slush Head and Quakke, while Skeletor waited to ambush them from behind the top exit. The Guardians were outplayed and lost the first contest.
The second contest appeared to take place in the open air. Both parties had to cross a bridge over a deep chasm that suddenly appeared in the middle of the Arena. The Mutants fired their weapons at their enemies in an attempt to thrown them off their bridge. This only caused the bridge to collapse. Luckilly for the Guardians, it remained attached on the side they were headed for, and they were able to climb up and finish the contest before the Mutants did. The two parties were now tied.
For the final contest, a golden ring was hidden somewhere in the Arena. The first team to find it would be the winner of the Games. He-Man surmised that the ring would be kept close by tye organizers of the Games. As they tried to get up the stairs towards the control area, the Guardians were ambushed by the Mutants. But Spinwit, who had been delayed on Asteroid RY874, arrived just in time to fight off Skeletor while flying an Astrosub.
Inside the control area, the Guardians finally met Royka and Molden, who appeared to be two green blobs with shining eyes. Flipshot was the first to spot the Golden Ring, but Kayo made a grab for it. The ring fell out of their grasp and hit the two blobs, who began to deflate. It was then revealed that Royka and Molden were short humanoids wearing an inflatable disguise. The Guardians were then invited to attend the victory celebration in the Great Hall.
However, first the Games official ending ceremony was held, in which Royka held a lengthy speech before awarding each of the Guardians a laurel wreath to be placed on their heads. After that, he declared the Games had ended.
Some time later, Skeletor took Kayo and Spinwit hostage in the Great Hall and challenged He-Man to a personal fight inside the Arena. Of course Skeletor did not come alone, but was backed up by Flogg, Optikk and Hoove. He-Man quickly defeated all four of them. Skeletor fled, and the Guardians finished their victory dinner in the Great Hall.
