The River of Rain is an important body of water in Eternia. From its source high in the Mystic Mountains, it flows down into the valley below, which is home to two groups of people: The Fishers, led by Ramjah, and The Farmers, led by Ar-Bor. The valley is also known for its deposits of Eternium.
The River of Ruin[]
Skeletor, having discovered the existence of Eternium in the valley, used Land Shark to dig a new path for the river, and blocked the old one. The old riverbed eventually dried up, and the new riverbed caused the water to flood out the fields of The Farmers.
With the riverbed empty, Skeletor and his Evil Warriors enslaved the Fisherman, forcing them to dig for Eternium in the empty riverbed. However, He-Man, Teela, and Sy-Klone happened to be in the area investigating the earthquakes caused by Skeletor's digging. With the aid of MossMan and Ar-Bor, the Heroic Warriors managed to free the fishermen from being Skeletor's slaves, and smashed Skeletor's dam, causing the Eternium Mine to be flooded out when the River of Rain returns to its right course.
