Trivia[]

  • This episode marks the first appearance of Roboto in the 2002 series.
  • This episode also features the game of chess. While the version in the Filmation series used a collection of strange monsters, this one uses piece designs closer to real chess, albeit with different names. Those names are emperor, empress, paladin, cleric, spire, and guard. Based on those names, they are most likely the king, queen, knight, bishop, rook, and pawn, respectively.
