Serenia is a minor character from the Netflix animated series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power.
Biography[]
Serenia was a First Ones rebel hero who had a star constellation named after her, according to George and Lance. The researchers George and Lance learned that the First Ones used stars to navigate space and named constellations after ancient heroes, one of whom was named Serenia. The constellation Serenia only appeared in Summer over the Crimson Waste. Some claimed that Serenia was real, while other thought that she was just a myth.[1]
Serenia was one of Mara's fellow rebels who opposed the First Ones in order to save Etheria from the Heart of Etheria. She was a member of Mara's rebel squadron, Grayskull, and left a message about the failsafe and Grayskull's attempt to stop the Heart of Etheria. Her last words were:
"This is our last transmission. If anyone's hearing this, you need to listen. There's a fail-safe for the Heart of Etheria. It will allow you to destroy the Heart and end this for good. It's at the Arxia outpost, but we lost touch with them a week ago. If there's anyone left out there, you need to find it. Mara bought us time, but it's too late for us. This is Rebel Squadron Grayskull. And for the last time, we're signing off."[2]

- In the 1985 series episode Something Old, Something New, Serenia was a location described as the one place that kept all of Etheria in balance. rather than a person from Etheria's distant past who subsequently had a constellation named after her.
