Shokoti used her powers of illusion to subdue the three of them and prepared to sacrifice them to the Sleeping Beast when it awoke. With some guidance from the Sorceress, however, Stanlan overcame his fear and used the Power Sword to save them. He-Man then defeated the Sleeping Beast by shoving a giant statue into its pool, melting it and causing Shokoti to vanish in a flash of light.
