Behind the Scenes[]
- In the 1985 original series, Krytis was a mining colony under Horde control. In this version, The Horde was unable to conquer Krytis because of powerful magic currents emanating from it.
- Melog's fierce red form resembles Catra's cat form from the 1985 original series. Her more gentle, pink form resembles Clawdeen from the Princess of Power toy line (who also appeared once in the Filmation series). However the name is taken from yet another character, a creature made of clay in She-Ra's likeness named Melog who appeared in the episode Enemy with My Face. J. Michael Straczynski created the original version of Melog, and gave specific instructions that the name should be pronounced "May-Log". Unfortunately, this was not acknowledged in the reboot series.
