The Sorcerer's Guild is a faction in the Netflix series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power.
The Sorcerer's Guild is the ruling council of sorcerers of Mystacor. Each member received a Sorcerer's Guild badge and wore it on his or her clothing or headdress. The members of the Guild regularly had meetings in the Lunarium.
When The Horde invaded the planet Etheria and took the Black Garnet for themselves, Light Spinner suggested that the Guild take action. She altered the Spell of Obtainment and proposed to cast it, thereby taking power of the planet for themselves. Norwyn, the head of the guild, refused to use this dangerous spell.
Light Spinner went ahead and proceeded with her spell, using the assistance of her young student Micah. But when Micah realized that the power they were unleashing was evil, he drew back, and Light Spinner's face was damaged in the backlash. Norwyn and other guild members appeared, and Shadow Weaver was cast out of their ranks. Light Spinner had become stronger than all the others combined. She knocked back two other sorcerers, and made Norwyn disappear into a black dimension. The only one she spared was young Micah. After this, Light Spinner left Mystacor to join the Horde, where she took on the name Shadow Weaver.[1]
Some time later, Micah's sister Castaspella became the new head of the Sorcerer's Guild.
