The Sorceress as she appears in Masters of the Universe: Revelation.
Biography[]
When the Orlax of Primeria suddenly appeared and caused King Randor to fall into a coma. The King was taken to Castle Grayskull to find a cure. The Sorceress realized the answer may be found in the past, and sent He-Man back in time by way of the Cosmic Corridor. He returned with a severed tentacle of the Orlax, which quickly regenerated into the full creature, now kept at bay in a magical prison at Grayskull.[1]
Protecting Grayskull[]
On the night of the grand ceremony that would conclude with Teela being given the title of Man-At-Arms, the Sorceress was surprised to find He-Man arriving at the gates of Grayskull riding Stridor with two prisoners from Snake Mountain in tow. She flew out of one of Grayskull's eyesockets in her falcon form as Zoar and transformed into her human form in front of He-Man and his prisoners. When one of the captives revealed himself to be Skeletor in disguise, the Sorceress used her powers to knock his magical weapon, the Shaping Staff out of his hands. Unfortunately she did not suspect to be betrayed by He-Man, who was actually Faker in disguise and who grabbed her from behind.
Taken inside the Castle, the Sorceress sent a telepathic plea for help to Prince Adam and used her power to activate the castle's magical defences as well as a forcefield around herself. But Skeletor had forseen that the Heroic Warriors would soon arrive and ordered an army of his own followers to attack the castle from outside.
When Skeletor tricked He-Man into opening the protective pyramid which housed the collection of all of Eternia's magic, the Orb of Power. The outside of Grayskull regained it's original look, that of the Hall of Wisdom. The moment Skeletor struck the Orb with his Havoc Staff, the Sorceress cast a spell to slow down time before the resulting explosion destroyed all of Eternia. The only others who were unafected by the timespell were He-Man and Teela, who was surprised to learn that the Sorceress had escpecially wanted to see her one last time.
He-Man came to the conclusion that the only way to save the planet, and indeed the entire universe, was to absorb the power of the blast with his own Sword of Power. By doing so, the sword spit in half, He-Man reverted to his mortal identity of Prince Adam, and both he and Skeletor were desintegrated in the explosion.[2]
Without the sword, all magic began to wane from Eternia. The planet itself was dying out, and with it, the rest of the universe would go. Only by calling on the Power of Grayskull could Eternia possibly be saved. Now greatly weakened, the Sorceress held on to the last remaining ember of magic she had left with all her might, with only Adam's loyal pet Cringer by her side to protect her. She eventually reached out to another magic user, Evil-Lyn, for help. Evil-Lyn took on the guise of an old woman to hire Teela and her new partner in crime Andra to recover a magical goblet, which turned out to be the top of the Havoc Staff and which Evil-Lyn used to strengthen the Sorceress. In turn, the Sorceress gave up the last ember to power Evil-Lyn's wand and urged Teela and Andra to go on a quest to recover the two lost halves of the Sword of Power in Subternia and Preternia. Evil-Lyn decided to join the search, while the former Sorceress, now a mortal woman without any magical powers remained at Grayskull with Cringer. [3]
Because Grayskull, or to be more exact, the Hall of Wisdom was now completely defenceless, Tri-Klops and cultists of Motherboard began to repeatedly attack the site. Luckily, Duncan, the disgraced former Man-At-Arms came to defend Grayskull and the Sorceress.
Despite suffering some great loses along the way, Teela, Andra and Evil-Lyn successfully completed their task and returned to Grayskull, having recovered both halves of the Sword of Power and now joined not only by Beast Man but also a resurrected Prince Adam. When Adam went down into the heart of Grayskull to call upon it's power and return the magic to Eternia, Duncan remained in the throne room to watch the Sorceress regain her strength.[4]

Trivia[]
- The fact that The Sorceress uses the alternate guise of Zoar the falcon is no longer a secret, as she transforms herself in front of prisoners from Snake Mountain, and Skeletor makes a pun on the name by calling her "Zoar-monger".[5]
- When Evil-Lyn opens a gate from Subternia to Preternia, she invokes the name of Zoar.[6]
- unlike most of her earlier incarnations this version of Sorceress is Man At Arms’ wife
- Unlike in the 80s she left Teela with Duncan prior to become a sorceress because she had to let go all of her bonds
- The term sorceress in this version is an equivalent of priestess. Their appearance depends on the god they are connected with . Teela Na had a bird appearance because she was connected with Zoar and Evill Lyn had a costume resembling Ha’Voc
- Zoar is not her bird form anymore but one of three great gods with whom she was connected
