Splinter-Skull is a ethereal being character in the Turtles of Grayskull action figure line and mini-comics.

Turtles of Grayskull History[]

The Turtles and April O’Neil travel into the bowels of Castle Grayskull to find the Dwell of Souls. Once there they meditate and and manage to summon the Spirit of Grayskull. But this time instead of appearing as a skull-like apparition, or like a ghost of King Grayskull, the etherial being appears to them in the form of Master Splinter, their Sensei, but with an aspect of the late King Grayskull.

Master Splinter[]

In TMNT media, Splinter, often referred to as Master Splinter or Sensei by his students/sons, is a fictional character from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics and various related media. A mutant rat, he is most often depicted as a grave and stoic sage of the Turtles, their ninjutsu and martial arts instructor, and their adoptive father. The character started off as a parody of the Marvel Comics character Stick.

MOTU-ized[]

Splinter-Skull's look is a mixing of Splinter with King Grayskull.
