Styrax is Shadow Weaver's pet and appears to be the Etherian equivilant of an Earth vulture.
When Shadow Weaver was preparing the poison of Kandahah to destroy the Whispering Woods, Styrax was sitting at her side, ready to go and inform (Filmation)| by her command.
