Terroar is a shape-shifting alien being capable of emitting a deafening sonic roar that renders his enemies helpless.

History[]

The alien Terroar was banished from a dimension of formless beings and landed on Eternia many thousands of years ago, until he was freed during a skirmish between the Evil Horde, the Evil Warriors, and the Snake Men. The alien creature took on the combined form of many warriors, creating a grotesque body for himself. When Terroar unleashed his supersonic scream, he brought everyone to their knees. A fascinated King Hiss prevented one of his Snake Men from attacking Terroar. Later, Lord Gr'Asp recruited Terroar to join the Snake Men and he became their secret weapon in battle until the brave trio of Slamurai, Strobo, and Plasmar discovered that Terroar was greatly weakened by exposure to bright light.

Originally one of several unnamed characters planned for the 1988 wave of the Masters of the Universe toyline, the character appeared on unreleased Mattel cardback artwork illustrated by Errol McCarthy. In 2017, the character was given the name Terroar and released as part of a three-pack with Lord Gr'Asp and Plasmar.
